Homemade Dishwasher Detergent

I was so excited at how well my homemade detergent turned out that I decided to try some homemade dishwasher detergent. I was given a “recipe” a long time ago and had stashed it away. Since I had a big box of Borax and Washing Soda, I thought I would give it a try.
It said to use equal parts Borax and Washing Soda in the main compartment (for me that meant 1 1/2 T of each) and Vinegar for the rinse agent. It also said you might need to rinse your dishes before putting them in the dishwasher (oops . . . missed that part).
The dishes came out just as good as my current detergent for a fraction of the cost!!!!
